The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, confidential counseling service provided by the District for use by all employees (full- and part-time) and members of their households. The EAP to is designed to support you as you navigate life’s challenges. Their licensed mental health professionals can help with a wide range of concerns including: relationships, grief, family issues, teenage struggles, financial challenges, etc.
Currently the EAP is managed by Blomquist Hale. However, effective January 1, 2026 we will transition to Magellan Healthcare as the new EAP provider. Magellan has been an Industry leader in employee wellness for over 50 years. Our employees will benefit from their experience, their large provider network, and access to cutting edge technology to help keep your wellness journey on track.
Blomquist Hale - Coverage Ends December 31, 2025
Blomquist Hale is the District’s current Employee Assistance Program Administrator. Blomquist Hale has been a partner for many years and we appreciate there service to our employees. However, our contract with Blomquist Hale is ending December 31, 2025 To ease the transition to the new provider the District has made arrangements for a 90 day extension for those who are currently working with Blomquist Hale. This will allow them to continue to work with Blomquist Hale while the find a new provider through Magellan Healthcare. Magellan Health - Coverage Begins January 1, 2026
Following an extensive selection process, Magellan Healthcare was selected to be the District’s new EAP Provider. Magellan Health has over 50 years of experience administering Employee Assistance Plans. They have a large network of providers, and variety of ways to access providers. They not only have the standard counseling services we are accustomed to, they also provide additional services and cutting edge technology previously unavailable.
