Canyons Schools to Provide Free Breakfast, Lunch to all Students

This Meal’s on Us! Canyons Schools to Provide Free Breakfast, Lunch to all Students School breakfast and lunch are now available at no charge to all Canyons District students under a temporary waiver from the USDA. The free meal service will start after the Labor Day holiday on Tuesday, Sept. 8 and continue through December 2020 or until the federal funding runs out. New Practice Gives Parents Chance to Review Proposed Curriculum

Canyons District aims to work closely with parents in providing the best possible education to the students enrolled in CSD schools.   The school-to-home partnership will be strengthened even more with the launch of a new practice regarding the adoption process for proposed new curriculum. Educators, Administrators, Supporters Honored with 2019 Apex Awards

The 2019 Apex Awards, the highest awards given by the Canyons Board of Education and Administration, were presented to 17 educators, administrators, community supporters, leaders, and public education advocates on Tuesday, Sept, 10, 2019.   The honorees, accompanied by friends and family, as well as District officials, mayors, state legislators, and other dignitaries, were feted an a by-invitation-only banquet and ceremony at Corner Canyon High, one of the first new-building projects undertaken by Canyons after the public approved a $250 million tax-rate-neutral bond in 2010 to address building needs.    The four winners of the 2019 Legacy Award, which is
