Dr. Rhode Begins Work as Interim Superintendent

Dr. Ginger Rhode, who played a major role in the launch of the new school district and the creation and implementation of the District’s academic plan, took the helm of Canyons School District on July 1, 2013.

The Canyons Board of Education appointed Dr. Rhode as Interim Superintendent to replace David S. Doty, who resigned to become the leader of a Utah-based education-reform firm.

She has a Ph.D. in Special Education from Utah State University and is a widely published author of numerous books on behavior management, including “The Tough Kid Book,” which has received national recognition.
