Provides school-age children struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral disruptions, trauma, substance use, and other mental health diagnoses.
- Day Treatment Programs: School-age children long-term stay (six weeks to three months).
- Intensive Outpatient Program: After-school treatment programs for school-age children.

Salt Lake County Youth Services: Juvenile Receiving Center

Youth and families that do not have an appointment but need to speak with someone right away can access free crisis counseling by phone or in person at the Juvenile Receiving Center. This all-day and all-night service is for 8- to 17-year-old children.

SMR works with families to minimize the impact of challenges, create safety plans, and connect families to other helpful resources. They may also provide additional services that teach skills to improve family functioning and mitigate future challenges.
University Neuropsychiatric Institute
UNI’s mental and behavioral health services focus on treating all aspects of the individual to achieve balance in mental health. Specialists treat conditions like anxiety, eating disorders, major depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia, and substance abuse/chemical dependency for all ages.
UNI Warm Line
If you need to talk to someone and you are not in a crisis situation, you can call the Utah Warm Line for that support. When you call the Utah Warm Line, you will speak with a peer support specialist. Specialists are trained in providing hope and empowerment through the recovery model. The recovery model centers on an individual approach to help you recover and heal and supports learning new skills that help callers feel empowered to make positive change.
