Policy 400.30 – Evaluation of ESP Personnel

The Board recognizes the need for periodic evaluation of all District personnel. This evaluation shall he conducted by each employee’s immediate supervisor. The primary purpose of the evaluation shall be to assist each employee to improve his/her performance in his/her individual assignment.

Policy 400.31 – Evaluation of Licensed Personnel

The Board of Education recognizes and appreciates the efforts of Canyons District’s educators in fulfilling the District mission that all students will graduate college-and- career ready and is committed to providing on-going support to promote educator professional growth. The Board of Education is committed to having effective educators in all classrooms to ensure that each student receives high quality instruction every day.

Policy 400.32 – Evaluation of Administrative Personnel

The Board of Education recognizes and appreciates the efforts of Canyons District’s administrators in fulfilling the District mission that all students will graduate college-and-career ready and is committed to providing on-going support to promote administrator professional growth. The Board of Education is committed to having effective administrators in all schools to ensure that each student receives high quality instruction every day.

Policy 400.33 – Provisional Status ESP Personnel

The Board of Education recognizes the need to establish a policy for provisional educational support professional (ESP) employees. It is the policy of the Board that all ESP employees have three (3) years of provisional employment. Provisional (ESP) employees may be given career status upon recommendation of the Superintendent when all of the provisional status requirements outlined below are met.

Policy 400.34 – Provisional Status Administrative Personnel

The Board of Education recognizes the need to establish a policy for provisional administrative personnel. It is the policy of the Board that all administrative employees have three (3) years of provisional employment. Provisional administrative employees may be given career status upon recommendation of the Superintendent when all of the provisional status requirements outlined below are met.
