We humans have an uneasy relationship with technology. It can empower us to connect with people, ideas, and the remote places of the world. Yet it can also distract us from our goals and get in the way of building trusting relationships, leaving us feeling empty and isolated. So, it should come as no surprise that during the pandemic, educators have wrestled with how to harness technology to meaningfully connect with students from a distance and bridge the analog world of in-person instruction with digital world of online learning. Wrestle with something long enough, though, and you’re bound to seize upon a solution. In this episode of Connect Canyons we meet the architects of one such solution, hear from a teacher who is putting it to use, and learn about the community partners who are making it possible to bring the solution to life in classrooms across Canyons.
