Step-by-Step Application Instructions:

General Hiring Process

  • All positions will be posted on our website for a minimum of five days.
  • A candidate’s application will remain active for one year from the date it was received.
  • Applications will then be evaluated and candidates selected to interview.
  • Due to the high volume of applicants for various positions, only those applicants receiving interviews will be contacted, via e-mail, notifying them when the position is filled.


Administrative Positions – District Office

  • Submit a complete Administrative Application Packet to Human Resources.
  • The applications will then be evaluated and candidates selected to interview.
  • Once a candidate is selected, the District’s Administration will take the recommendation to the Board of Education seeking approval.
  • All new hires require a cleared background check.


Administrator Positions - Schools

  • The next Administrative Screening Interviews will be held on February 6, 2015 and May 15, 2015.
  • Email a complete School Administrator Application Packet to Paulette Takata in Human Resources.  Application packets must be submitted at least seven days prior to date of interview.
  • Complete an Administrative Screening Interview. The screening interview lasts 2 ½ hours and consists of one-on-one interactions and a writing assignment. Once your School Administrator Application Packet is received a confirmation will be sent to you via email to confirm the screening interview.
  • ALL applicants will be included in the Administrative Candidate Pool for three years.
  • As the possibilities of openings arise, candidates identified through the screening process will be offered an additional interview.  The interview team will then recommend candidates to the Superintendent for consideration for a particular assignment.
  • Once a candidate has been selected by the Superintendent, a recommendation to the Board of Education will be made.
  • All new hires require a cleared background check.
  • Individuals may participate in the Administrative Screening Interview once every three years.  After three years candidates must re-interview in order to be considered for an Administrative position.


Licensed School Personnel Positions 

  • Submit an Application to Human Resources using www.teachers-teachers.com/utah.
  • Complete a Screening Interview. Once your application is received you will be contacted to schedule this interview. This interview last approximately 30 minutes and is a one-on-one interview.
  • Individuals may only participate in the Certificated School Personnel Screening Interview once every two years.
  • Once minimum paperwork qualifications are met, the candidate will be placed in the Certificated School Personnel Candidate Pool.
  • As positions become available, principals will select approximately five (5) candidates from the candidate pool to interview for the position.
  • Once a candidate is selected, and reference checks made, approval will be obtained from Human Resources and the position offered to the individual.
  • All new hires require a cleared background check through Utah State Office of Education.


Licensed Specialist Positions

  • Submit a Licensed Specialist Application to Human Resources.
  • Approximately five (5) candidates from the candidate pool will be selected to interview for the position.
  • Once a candidate is selected, and reference checks made, approval will be obtained from Human Resources and the position offered to the individual.
  • All new hires require a cleared background check through Utah State Office of Education
